Overview

Lucerna Bible is a mobile application for iOS that offers Bible translations, original language resources, lexicon data, and word study insights.

Subscription tiers

Free — Access to all translations, basic word features, and 3 study queries per month (no conversation history)
Pro ($9.99/month) — Full lexicon access, interlinear text, translation comparison, 100 study insights per month, conversation history, notes, all highlight colors, all audio voices, iCloud sync
Scholar ($14.99/month) — Everything in Pro plus 500 study insights per month
Lifetime ($299 one-time) — All Scholar features permanently, no recurring payments

Study query packs

Additional study query packs are available as one-time purchases:

25 queries for $2.99
100 queries for $7.99

Pack credits accumulate and never expire. They persist across monthly resets and subscription changes.

Subscription terms

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Content sources

Bible translations included are public domain or available under permissive open licenses, including the KJV, ASV, WEB, and others. Lexicon materials (BDB, Abbott-Smith) are in the public domain.

Study insights

Word study insights are generated by a language model and serve as educational aids. They may contain inaccuracies and should be verified against scholarly sources. In-app disclaimers are provided.
